TRAINING AND CREDENTIALS

Katherine is a North Carolina native who recently returned to the Carolinas from Virginia. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Bluefield College in Bluefield, Virginia. After several years of experience as a psychiatric-mental health registered nurse, she went on to receive her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of South Carolina at Columbia in the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program.

AREAS OF CLINICAL INTEREST

Katherine’s plan is to deliver individualized care that is caring, collaborative, and evidenced-based to improve individuals mental health and quality of life.  Her lifelong passion is to reduce the stigma of mental illness in the community through advocacy and education. Her treatment approaches include medication management, psychoeducation, and brief supportive psychotherapy.
