At Carolina Behavioral Care, our commitment to mental health goes beyond providing clinical services. Many of our providers are engaged in teaching or clinical research. We feel it adds value to the work we do and keeps our practice current on the best treatment for our patients.
We continue to have ongoing studies for schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and depression. We are also interested in developing tests to measure specific medications in urine and ways to measure adherence. The results from those studies is now being used to improve patient care, both nationally and here at Carolina Behavioral Care.
As part of our core values at Carolina Behavioral Care, we will only participate in research that we feel has value to our patients by either gaining knowledge about a condition, providing a new service, or developing a new treatment that is of direct benefit to our patients, their families and the communities we serve.
