TRAINING AND CREDENTIALS
Edward F. Lueth, MSW, joined Carolina Behavioral Care as Chief Operating Officer in 2008. He attended graduate school in social work at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Prior to accepting his current position, he served on the faculty of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Duke University School of Medicine for more than 20 years. His position there included the role of Chief Executive Officer for the Durham Community Guidance Clinic, a community-based clinical practice for children and youth and training center for the Child Residency Program at the School of Medicine. He continues to hold a consulting faculty appointment at Duke.
In his current role at Carolina Behavioral Care, he oversees the operations of the clinics, pharmacies and laboratories as well as the corporate enterprise.
AREAS OF CLINICAL INTEREST
Mr. Lueth has a longstanding interest in developing ancillary services that improve patient care and outcomes, and he is particularly interested in improving adherence with drug therapies in chronic clinical populations.
