Rachel Naylor is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate. She obtained her Master’s degree from Appalachian State University in Marriage and Family Therapy in July 2020. Rachel has a certificate in Expressive Arts Therapy and Multicultural Counseling. Rachel utilizes Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,and Experiential Therapy in her approaches to assist clients in reaching their interpersonal goals. Rachel takes a systemic approach to therapy that includes all systems that a client may be involved in such as their family, their friend group, or coworkers. Rachel takes the approach that therapy does not exist in a vacuum and that the skills you learn in therapy transfer into one’s everyday life.
Rachel is available to see adolescents, young adults, and adults. Clients can be seen individually, as couples, or the family unit. Rachel has experience working with a variety of life issues including substance use, anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-esteem, life transitions, and mood disorders. Rachel has previously worked in Intensive In-Home services and Intensive Outpatient settings.
When not at work Rachel can be found engaging in any creative activity such as painting or drawing or on the river kayaking with her family and her dog. Rachel will be seeing clients at our Greensboro location starting in July, please call 828-350-1177 to schedule!
